MIMOSA Pro detects tissue oximetry & temperature in tissue by imaging the skin with near infrared & infra-red light.
MIMOSA Pro provides remote monitoring of important parameters that can help clinicians make decisions in real time
MIMOSA Pro can see things that humans can’t - detecting things like whether the skin is perfused, receiving adequate oxygen, + more!
Our HIPAA compliant & secure cloud-based platform enables communication amongst clinicians & tracking patient’s physiology over time
MIMOSA Pro is a non-contact near-infrared (NIR), reflectance-based technology which determines tissue health through the measurement of tissue oxygen saturation.
While this imaging tech isn't entirely new, we found a way to make a traditionally 12-ft tall machine fit in the palm of your hand...
Most patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and poorly healing lower extremity wounds should also undergo a thorough noninvasive vascular evaluation, yet this often does not occur prior to more catastrophic consequences like a foot ulceration or amputation. A simple physical exam and palpable pedal pulse assessment are usually adequate to ensure pedal blood flow but seldom are performed prior to complications arising.
Assessing tissue health status can help eliminate flap failures. Post op monitoring of the flap and surrounding area is essential but also difficult and expensive to access. As such many surgeons rely on clinical judgment alone, which is not fool proof as poorly perfused skin flaps are often not clinically apparent until hours after surgery.
Diabetes and Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) continue to be a growing epidemic globally, universally placing enormous economic toll on national healthcare systems. With new emerging medical technologies however, there is the potential to diagnosis these conditions much earlier before the development of detrimental complications.
Surgical burn treatment depends on accurate estimation of burn depth. The decision to excise and graft is based on a visual assessment that is often inaccurate but continues to be the primary means of grading the injury. Many methods have been used to assess burns, but none has gained wide acceptance. Multispectral imaging has recently entered the medical research field with encouraging results.
Low cardiac output syndrome (LCOS) is an important complication of cardiac surgery. It is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality. LCOS typically occurs in 25-65% of children with congenital heart disease (CHD), 6-8 hours post-surgery. LCOS contributes not only to mortality increase but also length of stay. Therefore, determining the risk factors of LCOS has clinical significance in the management of CHD.
Applications for MIMOSA Pro are growing and evolving every month - be apart of changing the game...

Obtain expert wound assessment in any group practice or specialised clinic setting, bringing high quality assessment technology to the patient side. By automating assessment of tissue oxygenation, tissue temperature and capturing wound images MIMOSA Pro provides critical clinical information regarding tissue health. The immediacy of the result provides triaging assessment capabilities to identify patients at risk.
Bedside tissue assessment in all corners of the hospital. MIMOSA Pro provides every clinician, regardless of training, with a standardized method of capturing tissue health status supported by accurate, medical images. The immediacy of result provides triaging assessment capabilities to identify patients at risk in any part of the hospital or even remotely.
Provide expert tissue health assessment, normally reserved for more specialised clinical settings. Patients can stay in place and the clinician can come to you. Less moving of patients between healthcare settings for assessment and diagnosis. MIMOSA Pro allows remote consultation by more expert specialists, wherever they are based, to the clinician at the point of care.
Bedside tissue assessment in all corners of the world or every aspect of medical emergency. MIMOSA Pro provides every clinician, regardless of training, with a standardized method of capturing tissue health status supported by accurate, medical images. This can include military, sports and mass casualty events, including the use by Paramedics.
